The Garrison Creek still flows beneath our city. As it rushes under homes, cafes, roads and parks, we find signs of this lost river in tilting houses, dips in streets, buried bridges and a string of green valleys.

Human River eclectic and celebratory events incorporate: education, art and exploration. Join us as we remember the water’s past as a creek that carved our city, learn about its present in Toronto’s storm sewers, and imagine its potential future.

THE 5th ANNUAL HUMAN RIVER

RESURFACED on

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25th, 2009

The walk began at 1:00 pm, leaving from the Pavilion @ Christie Pits Park and finished at Historic Fort York, Blue Barracks where there was a closing reception until 5:30 pm.
